The Balanced Scorecard carries the Advanced badge. It’s included on the Professional plan and higher, and pay-as-you-go accounts can run it per analysis. On other plans its card shows Upgrade instead of Select. See Strategy plans and pricing.
When to use it
- You’ve set a strategy and need measures and targets to track it.
- Leadership reviews focus on financials alone and you want customer, process and people measures too.
- You’re planning the next quarter or year and want initiatives tied to each objective.

The Components tab has a Framework Summary and one Framework Details section per perspective:- Financial

Run it

Open Generate Framework
In the side menu, under Quick Frameworks, click Generate Framework.

Select Balanced Scorecard
Find Balanced Scorecard under Financial & Performance Analysis and click Select.

Fill in the business context
Complete the Business Context fields. See Generate a framework for what each one asks.Under Framework Inputs (Optional), the Balanced Scorecard asks for Strategic Time Horizon (for example, next quarter or three years) and Current Strategic Priorities. Targets depend on the time horizon, so set it if you have one in mind.Click Continue.

Generate
On pay-as-you-go, pick an Analysis depth. Then click Generate Framework.
